Dear Spottid users,
It's with a heavy heart that we announce that we will be shutting down Spottid on April 20th, 2023. We understand that this news may come as a surprise to some of you, and we want to take a moment to explain our decision.
Spottid was created with the intention of helping people save, organize and easily revise the content they consume, such as books, podcasts, and videos. We are proud of what we have built and grateful for all the users that have used the app.
However, after careful consideration, we have come to the conclusion that we can no longer sustain the app's operations. While we have tried our best to keep the app running and improving its features, the costs of maintaining and developing the app have become too high for us to bear.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and we want to assure you that we will do our best to make the transition as smooth as possible. We will be disabling new user sign-ups and subscription renewals immediately. Existing users will still have access to the app until April 20th, 2023. After that date, the app will be taken offline, and all user data will be deleted permanently.
We understand that some of you may have valuable content saved on Spottid, and we want to help you preserve it. Therefore, we recommend that you export your data before the app shuts down. To do so, simply go to the "Export content" tab and select the format you want your data to be exported in. This will allow you to download a copy of your saved content in a CSV, TXT, or JSON format that can be easily imported into other note-taking or productivity apps.
Once again, we want to express our gratitude to our users. It has been an honor to serve you and help you benefit from great ideas. We hope that Spottid has made a positive impact on your life and that you will continue to seek knowledge and grow as individuals.
